Hi, welcome back! This was by far our most favourite weekend this season. We really found some great gems. There were tons of sales around the city, but we didn't venture too far from home.

Alex ~ We started off close to home just following signs. Our main goal this week was to hit some supposed large garage sales in the Charleswood area. The first house we went to turned out to be a property we had previously looked at for purchase. There we found some comics, a camping cup, a game, and some action figures all for $5. The next sign took us a few blocks over to a multi-family yard sale.

Sarah ~ There we bought a big ugly chair and some delicious brownies. They had several video game systems and I almost bought a VHS video camera, but held back. It was only $6.00...

Alex ~ I bought a brownie and ate it, while Sarah took a picture of the cute drawing. Turns out they were delicious and vegan.

There were also tons of un-manned lemonade and iced-tea stands. Kids can't handle the workload, I guess.

Sarah ~ We zig zagged our way through River Heights, stopping to buy several games, records, a receiver, books and even old sheets that were still in the package! Eventually we got to Charleswood, but were kind of disappointed in the quality of garage sales. Alex bought a record player for $5.00 and we both bought some records there but we had to search through a lot of junk.

This is everything we bought, minus the cat which was a previous purchase.

Whoa!

Alex ~ These are my most favourite! I can't wait until Christmas, so I can put them on the tree!

Hopefully next week will be as good as this one!

Sorry!

The past two weekends have been a bust. We don't really have much to show for ourselves. We're going on a little vacation for May Long so maybe we'll try to have something for you when we get back.

In the mean time here's this.
